Unknown Person 'Forced Entry' Into New Hope Home; Police Seek Info
In what police say was an attempted burglary, a Clydesdale Drive resident heard a loud noise behind their house at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday.
NEW HOPE, PA — Someone forced entry into the back door of a New Hope home around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, the homeowner told police.
Solebury Township police responded to the report from the 500 block of Clydesdale Drive, near the intersection of Street Road and Upper Mountain Road.
The homeowner told police they heard a noise from the back of the house, and went to investigate while calling 911. Police determined that an unknown person or unknown people had come into the single-family home's rear door.

The person left on foot from the rear of the property, police said they were told.
Officers are asking others who live in that area of the Peddlers View neighborhood to check their surveillance footage or doorbell cameras for "suspicious persons or vehicles" between 11 p.m. Tuesday night and 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
