Crash Injures 2, Knocks Down Utility Poles In New Hope

The New Hope Borough Police Department is looking for people who may have witnessed the accident and can provide additional details.

NEW HOPE BOROUGH, PA — Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on South Sugan Road near Old York Road

According to New Hope Borough Police, both drivers were transported by Central Bucks Ambulance and New Hope Lambertville Ambulance to St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne for treatment.

The accident knocked down utility poles and wires and shut down South Sugan Road between Old York Road and Stoney Hill Road.

The Bucks County Traffic Crash Investigation Team will be conducting a full accident reconstruction to determine the cause of the crash.

New Hope Borough Police were assisted at the scene by the New Hope Eagle Fire Company, Solebury Township Police, and Midway Fire Police.
