Firefighters Knock Down Covered Bridge Road Truck Fire In Solebury

NEW HOPE, PA — Firefighters from New Hope Eagle and Upper Makefield responded to a fully-involved truck fire Wednesday morning on Covered Bridge Road between Lurgan Road and Pidcock Creek Road.

Engine 81 and Tanker 81 from Upper Makefield were dispatched with New Hope's Station 46 to the scene on the border of both response areas.

Engine 81 arrived to find a well-involved utility truck. Firefighters from both companies quickly knocked down the fire and secured hazards.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire, but the truck was totally destroyed.
