NEW HOPE, PA — A lucky resident looking to adopt a Goose could be very happy this holiday season.

Bucks County SPCA shared a photo of this adorable Yorkshire Terrier Monday, describing him as a sweet and gentle 10-year-old looking for a new home.

"He enjoys his people friends but mostly likes to spend time exploring on his own," the SPCA wrote. "Goose loves to go on walks and will happily follow your lead! He’s perfect for those that want a non-clingy companion."

The shelter feels Goose would do best in a home without kids, due to his age and his independent streak.

"He would also need to meet another dog before living with one," the SPCA wrote.
