Lambertville 'Helping Hands' Concert To Provide Post-Ida Aid

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ — A two-day weekend festival in Lambertville will celebrate community spirit, while also benefitting the city's recovery from devastation after the remnants of Hurricane Ida.

More than a month after the flooding, the city is no longer in a state of emergency; but personal and public infrastructure was deeply impacted when area creeks overflowed their bounds and rising water levels at the Delaware River caused widespread flooding.

In response, a variety of musicians are slated to play Hunterdon County Fairgrounds on October 9 and 10 for the Lambertville Helping Hands Benefit, put on by the city's chamber of commerce and sponsored by Capital Health. Proceeds from the event will go directly to aiding Lambertville individuals, families, and businesses in recovering from the weather disaster.

Tickets are pay-what-you-can and can be purchased at the door. The musical acts include:

12:50 p.m. – 1:20 p.m.: Essie Riddle
1:40 p.m. – 2:10 p.m.: Christina Ward
2:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.: Little Flowers
3:20 p.m. – 3:50 p.m.: Chris Chadwick
4:10 p.m. – 4:40 p.m.: The Swiss Guard
5:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.: The Shackers

Sunday

11:30 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.: Artie Banker
12:10 p.m. – 12:40 p.m.: Clouds in My Coffee
1:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Strange Brew Crew
1:50 p.m. – 2:20 p.m.: Phase 3
2:50 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.: Darius de Haas
3:50 p.m. – 4:30/40 p.m.: Jake Thistle

The event runs on Saturday between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., and on Sunday between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., at 1207 NJ Route 179. Learn more online.
