Lambertville Helping Hands Concert Raises $100K Despite Rain

The benefit to aid those impacted by the remnants of Hurricane Ida raised around $100,000, on a weekend with less than ideal weather.

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ — The Greater Lambertville Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday that its 'Helping Hands' benefit concert raised about $100,000 in just one weekend.

The rain-or-shine music and variety event garnered the funds toward aid for individuals and businesses impacted by devastating flooding in the area in the wake of Hurricane Ida.

"We could not have done it without our volunteers, musicians, sponsors, donors, and ticket holders," a message on the chamber of commerce's social media read. "You made this happen!"
