Nowick Wins Lambertville Mayor Election
According to official results, the Democratic candidate will be Lambertville's next mayor by a thin margin.

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ — Andrew Nowick has been named the next mayor of Lambertville, after beating Michael Menche 1,035 votes to 1,009.
Nowick ran as a Democrat, and Menche ran as an Independent for the mayoral seat. There was no Republican candidate in the race.
"I would like to thank everyone who volunteered the time and energy to make our campaign a success over the primary and general elections," Nowick said in a news release. "We worked hard to reach as many residents as possible, and I'm grateful for all the conversations we had along the way."

Nowick is a stay-at-home parent who has served on a variety of area boards and advisories, and ran in part on a platform of improving the city's Hazard Mitigation Plan. Independent Menche works for a tech solutions and services firm, and ran in part on a platform opposing tax increases.
Current mayor Julia Fahl, a Democrat, opted not to run for re-election this year.
