Lambertville Office Of Emergency Management Monitoring Incoming Storm
In an advisory notice, the city recommends preparing for the event by taking precautionary action.

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ — The City of Lambertville’s Office of Emergency Management is monitoring the major storm projected to hit New Jersey on Tuesday, Jan. 9, and Wednesday, Jan. 10, for potential impacts to the city.
Current models show Hunterdon County falls in the moderate area for significant flooding risk with predictions of between 1 and 3 inches of rain. This has the potential for street, stream flooding and flash flooding. The storm also has the potential for high winds and power outages.
In an advisory notice, the city recommends preparing for the event by taking the following actions:

- Consider moving valuables to higher ground.
- Plan for an emergency evacuation with a “To Go” bag.
- If you experience a power outage, report it - either by phone (1-888-544-4877) or online
- Charge your devices (cell phone, iPad).
- DO NOT attempt to drive through flood waters.
- To reduce the risk of localized flooding, clear leaves and other debris from the storm inlets near your property.

The city asks that residents not call 911 for any non-emergency problems. If an evacuation is needed in the area, you will be notified by police, fire, rescue or emergency management personnel.
