Man Threatened Violence Against Solebury Police, Authorities Say
The Hatboro man threatened to "shoot them dead" in a comment posted on the department's social media page, police said.

SOLEBURY TOWNSHIP, PA — A Hatboro man is facing charges after he threatened Solebury Township police officers with violence in a posting on social media.
On Oct. 17, Solebury Township Police, with the assistance of the Upper Moreland Police Department, arrested 45-year-old Manuel Cabral and charged him with terroristic threats, harassment and criminal use of a communications device.
Police began investigating after a threatening comment was posted under a public service announcement on its Facebook page regarding traffic restrictions in the 6200 block of Lower Mountain Road.

In the comments section of the post, police said Cabral threatened to drive through the restricted area, daring officers to stop him, and if they did, he would "shoot them dead."
Detectives immediately launched an investigation and identified the man behind the threats as Cabral.

Cabral was arraigned by the Honorable Magistrate Brian Marriott and was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post 10 percent of the $100,000 cash bail.
