Mary Brashier Announces Candidacy For Mayor Of New Hope

NEW HOPE, PA — Mary Brashier, the vice president of the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce, has announced her candidacy for mayor of New Hope Borough.
“I am incredibly proud to officially announce my candidacy for mayor of New Hope,” she posted on Facebook. “Our town is more than just a place to live - it’s a vibrant, diverse, and welcoming community that I love deeply,” said Brashier who will run as a Democrat.
“New Hope deserves leadership that is committed to preserving its unique character while ensuring a bright future for residents and businesses alike,” she said. “I look forward to engaging with all of you, listening to your ideas, and working together to make our town the best it can be.”

A graduate of the College of New Jersey, Brashier is the vice president of the Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce. She is self-employed as a family manager and formerly taught school for nearly six years at the Village Charter School.
