Masked Men Burglarize Bucks Co. Homes: What We Know

At least three Bucks Co. police departments are investigating. If you have video footage that would aid in the probe, contact authorities.

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A rash of weekend burglaries is under investigation by multiple police departments in Bucks County. Residential burglaries were reported Saturday night in Warrington, Buckingham and Upper Makefield townships, police said.

Police in Buckingham and Warrington obtained video surveillance both showing two masked suspects.

BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP

The Buckingham Township Police Department said it is investigating two residential burglaries. One occurred on Saturday night along 3800 block of Parkside Drive in the Forest Grove section of the Township. The second is believed to have happened within the same time frame on the 3800 block of Green Ridge Road in the Furlong section of the township.

According to police, the glass was broken out of a rear door in both incidents.

Surveillance video obtained by law enforcement shows two men wearing masks breaking the glass of rear doors to gain entry.

One of the suspects was described as wearing all black clothing with a black hat, black backpack, black gloves with a blue stripe and a black mask. The second was wearing a blue jacket, black pants, black shoes, gloves and a black mask.

UPPER MAKEFIELD

In Upper Makefield, a break-in was reported on Larkspur Lane Saturday between 4:15 and 9:15 p.m. Police there said someone broke the glass of a rear sliding door.

No one was home at the time. Items were stolen from the home. Authorities did not elaborate on what was stolen or its value.

Police are asking residents who live in the area to review any camera footage from that time. Anyone with information about the incident should contact Detective Jumper at 215-968-3020.

WARRINGTON

Police are also investigating a string of residential burglaries that occurred in Warrington Township on Saturday between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Burglaries were reported in the Warrington Hunt, Warrington Meadows, Parkview, and Summerset Walk developments. Camera footage collected by police show two suspects wearing masks, gloves and dark jackets. The pair was observed getting out of a dark Sport Utility Vehicle before running to the back of the homes, police said.

Cash and jewelry were stolen from some homes.
