New Hope 1 Of Top 10 Christmas Towns In The U.S.: Report
"Who wouldn't want to spend their Christmas in this lovely East Coast locale?" Country Living asked.
NEW HOPE, PA — Our very own Delaware River town was named one of the top 10 Christmas towns in the country by Country Living in their Top 55 list this year.
New Hope comes in at number six in the U.S., behind Stockbridge, Massachusetts; Park City, Utah; Franklin, Tennessee; Duluth, Minnesota; and Essex, Connecticut. Only two other Pennsylvania towns were recognized.
The magazine specifically shouted out the North Pole Express, "where you and your family will be treated to Christmas carols, hot cocoa, cookies, and even a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves." But as locals know, there's even more to enjoy — from Holly Jolly Weekend and the Gingerbread Competition at Peddler's Village to fun performances at Bucks County Playhouse.
