NEW HOPE, PA — New Hope Borough Council will consider an ordinance creating an Environmental Advisory Council at its July 16 public meeting.

If created, the EAC would advise borough officials, agencies and committees on matters dealing with the protection, conservation, management, promotion and use of natural resources, including air, land and water resources, located within New Hope, and to study and make recommendations for the adoption of ordinances and regulations necessary for the promotion and protection of the natural resources of the Borough, its land, flora and fauna, local impacts of the threats and opportunities of climate change and the health of its residents.
