New Hope Creates Environmental Advisory Council; Looking For Members

At its July 16, 2024 meeting, Borough Council established the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) for New Hope Borough.

The purpose of the EAC is to advise borough officials on matters that affect the quality of the environment in the borough with concentration on the protection, conservation, management, promotion and use of its natural resources, including air, land and water.

Further, the EAC will study and make recommendations on best practices to protect and enhance natural resources.

If you have an interest in protecting and preserving New Hope’s natural resources, please consider joining the new EAC. To apply, download and complete an advisory board application, and submit it along with a letter of interest to Borough Manager Peter Gray at pgray@newhopeborough.org.
