Bucks County Eatery Ranked Among Best Restaurants In Nation

NEW HOPE, PA — New Hope’s own The Speckled Egg Cafe has been ranked as one of the best eateries in the nation by USA Today.
The newspaper released its “Restaurant of the Year” ranking for 2024 on Thursday. And the list of 47 includes three eating places in Pennsylvania, including The Speckled Egg. The others are Doro Bet (4533 Baltimore Ave., Philadelphia) and Viet Thai Cafe (2535 E. Market St., York).

From its house-ground sausage and seasonal soups to its scratch-baked sandwich rolls and sweet treats, “they take great care and time to ensure diners are getting beautiful bites that you will remember and crave again.”
The USA reviewer liked the cozy kitchen atmosphere at The Speckled Egg and its regularly changing menu “showcasing the pair’s creativity at turning locally sourced ingredients into unexpected dishes.” Read more of the review at USA Today.

The eatery is located at Rice’s Market, 6326 Greenhill Road, New Hope 18938 and is open on Tuesday and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. March to December.
You can also catch The Speckled Egg at pop-up breakfast sandwich events in February at Manoff Market Gardens, 3157 Comfort Road, New Hope. The next one takes place on Saturday, Feb. 17.
