New Hope Helping Delivers the Joy with Gifts for Kids
The local charity teams up with Fisherman's Mark to support local families in need.

The holidays are a special time, but it can be difficult for people struggling to make ends meet. The volunteers at New Hope Helping funded and delivered 175 toys to Fisherman’s Mark to help fill the shelves for kids in need.
Hundreds of toys donated by groups and individuals were stacked up on shelves at the Fisherman’s Mark facility in Lambertville, and then over 50 kids were led into the building where they could each pick a few presents. The smiles on faces and the joy and excitement in the room amazed parents and volunteers alike. It even amazed Santa, a.k.a. New Hope Helping President David Hansel.
The staff at Fisherman’s Mark, who help support the food needs of hundreds of residents, turn their facility into a toy store for a day. The happiness that comes from the effort is worth every hour and dollar that goes into it. This is one way to easily see how supporting local charities and support services can have a direct benefit to the local community.
