New Hope, Lambertville Public Meetings Upcoming In Next 2 Weeks

Several committee, board, and commission meetings are scheduled in Lambertville in the coming weeks. Read about the details of each.

NEW HOPE-LAMBERTVILLE — There are no upcoming public meetings for local government boards and commissions in New Hope. However, while the Historical Architectural Review Board will not meet in the next two weeks, the deadline to submit an application for their Aug. 3 meeting is Monday, July 12.

Several meetings of local boards, commissions, and committees are scheduled in Lambertville over the next two weeks. Read the details below:

Human Rights Council Meeting
Monday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Location: Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center
The Human Rights Council aims to promote and protect human rights at the local level, and ensure that Lambertville remains a place of acceptance and love. The agenda for this meeting includes discussion of a city-wide antiracism initiative and gender neutral bathroom signs.

Library Board Meeting
Tuesday, July 13 at 7 p.m.
Location: Zoom
The trustees of the Lambertville Free Public Library convene to discuss library business, correspondence, and reports. The agenda for this meeting has not yet been posted.

Historic Preservation Meeting
Tuesday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Location: City Hall
The Historic Preservation Commission provides careful review of proposed developments to ensure that city buildings reflect and maintain Lambertville’s architecturally significant landscape. The Commission also provides guidance to homeowners wishing to preserve the historic look of their homes and buildings. Budget Hearing
Wednesday, July 14 at 11:30 a.m.
Location: Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center
This meeting is a budget hearing by the Mayor and City Council, including announcements of public restrooms opening, convenience center hours, and Sparkle Week. Read the agenda here.

Recreation Commission Meeting
Wednesday, July 14 at 8 p.m.
Location: Zoom
The Recreation Commission oversees the operations and conditions of Lambertville’s parks and open spaces, and manages summer recreation programs. The agenda for this meeting has not yet been posted.

Planning Board Meeting
Wednesday, July 21 at 7 p.m.
Location: Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center & Zoom
The Planning Board has jurisdiction over all land-use proposals in the city, and is responsible for creating and maintaining the City’s Master Plan for development as well as recommending land use ordinances to the Mayor and City Council. The Board also provides counsel on proposed land use ordinance changes. The agenda for this meeting includes examining a schematic architectural plan for a K-4 Lambertville public school.

Mayor & Council Meeting
Thursday, July 22 at 7 p.m.
Location: Phillip L. Pittore Justice Center
Mayor Julia Fahl and City Council meet to discuss all manner of city resolutions, happenings, and proposals. The agenda for this meeting has not yet been posted.
