New Hope Borough Council Primary Election 2025: Results

Two incumbents win their party's nomination while two others come up short in the New Hope Municipal Primary.

NEW HOPE, PA — Two incumbents won their party's nomination for another term on council while two incumbents came up short in the race for four open seats on the New Hope Borough Council.

All the action on Tuesday was on the Democratic ballot where six candidates, including four incumbents, were seeking their party's nomination for four open, four-year seats on the council.

Incumbent Joseph Kassick easily won on the Democratic ballot for a two-year seat on council.

In the race for four open four year seats on council, voters picked incumbents Michele Becci and Tobie Grama as their nominees as well as Eric Burnside and Mark Magerman. Coming up short in their re-election bid were former council president Connie Gering and longtime councilman Peter Meyer.

There were no Republicans on Tuesday's ballot.

Results by the Bucks County Board of Elections are unofficial until they are certified at a later date.
