New Hope Rescue Crews Respond To Bucks Flooding Disaster

Members from the Marine 46 crew responded to 100-year flood conditions in Bensalem and Bristol Monday evening, following severe storms.

NEW HOPE, PA — The New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company was one of many fire and rescue crews to respond to residents in need during flash floods in Bensalem and Bristol Monday night.

“We can’t be prouder of our team,” the fire company wrote on social media.

New Hope sent their Marine 46 crew of four members to help out. Topher Taylor, Keller Taylor, Jack Herman, and Liam Griffith responded to the “very hazardous conditions.”

Bristol Township received 8.67 inches of rainfall, and Bensalem is estimated to have received up to 10 inches. Following millions in property damage after just a short period of rainfall, some residents had to be evacuated.
