New Hope Resident To Run Boston Marathon For 'Dougie's Team'
On Monday, the Boston College senior will be running her first marathon on behalf of the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.

NEW HOPE, PA — On Monday, Leah Trichon of New Hope will take on one of the greatest challenges in the running world: the 129th Boston Marathon, all to support the Doug Flutie Foundation for Autism.
Leah joins Dougie’s Team for Autism as a charity runner raising funds needed for critical programs and initiatives to help people and families with autism live life to the fullest.
Leah, a senior at Boston College, is running her first marathon on behalf of the Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism. After spending the past three years soaking in the electric energy of Marathon Monday as a student at Boston College, Leah said she is beyond excited to experience it from the other side of the barricades.

“There’s something so special about the B.C. community and the spirit of this city,” she says. “Running this race on my final Marathon Monday — and for a cause as meaningful as the Flutie Foundation — is a dream come true.”
By supporting Dougie’s Team, Leah is helping provide critical resources to people and families with autism. She said she's honored to represent a foundation founded by a B.C. legend and to carry that legacy forward with every step on race day.
