Matteo Cademartori, a junior who serves as a student representative on the New Hope-Solebury School Board of Directors, shared, “I have had an amazing experience in the NHSD Music Department, playing in the New Hope-Solebury High School Jazz Band & Concert Band for the past three years, and having the opportunity to sing in the Chamber Choir my freshman year. My confidence has grown as a musician, and my love of music has been immensely enriched. The music education I have received has been transformative and will continue to fuel my love of music beyond high school.”
To qualify for the Best Communities designation, New Hope-Solebury School District answered detailed questions about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, support for the music program, and community music-making programs.
