New Hope Wawa Reopens After Extensive Remodeling

The store at West Bridge Street and Sugan Road is again selling its freshly-brewed coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and hoagies.

NEW HOPE, PA — Wawa customers in New Hope can once again pick up their favorite Wawa hoagies, get their coffee fix, and grab a sizzli to go.

The Wawa store at West Bridge Street and Sugan Road has reopened its doors following an extensive renovation project, which closed the store for six weeks.

Renovation crew completely gutted the interior of the old store, updated the layout for efficiency, and incorporated the company's newest brand features and technologies.

According to the company, each remodel costs around $1 million and includes expansion of the cash register areas, consolidation of refrigerated items, and the addition of more self-checkout kiosks.

The family-owned business based in Delaware County is known for its hoagies, freshly-brewed coffee, the “Sizzli” − its signature hot breakfast sandwich - dinner items including burgers, fries and pizza along with soups, sides and snacks, and a full line of hot, iced and frozen specialty beverages. Wawa also carries more than 6,000 items including groceries, tobacco and candy.
