Owowcow Creamery and the Bucks County Children's Museum collaborated on the new flavor, and on a fundraising event to benefit the museum.

NEW HOPE, PA — A collaboration between a children's museum and an ice cream shop may seem an unlikely pairing. But it's exactly the one that will bring residents of New Hope and Lambertville a delicious new ice cream flavor, and a chance to support the Bucks County Children's Museum's work.

Lambertville's Owowcow Creamery created Brownie Chocolate Chip Cookie Monster — or BCCM — at the museum's request this summer.

"This delicious flavor is sweet honey cream ice cream, dyed naturally blue with butterfly pea flower, with housemade chocolate chip cookies and brownie chunks mixed in," said Owowcow's Vanessa Lizana.

The flavor is available the duration of July at the creamery's 237 North Union St. location.

Further, Owowcow and the children's museum will host a Dine and Donate event Tuesday between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m., with profits benefitting the museum. The collaboration has been a delightful way to promote both learning and fun.
