NEW HOPE, PA — A Philadelphia-based brewery is now serving suds in Bucks County.

Human Robot has opened a "new concept" at its location on 12 W. Mechanic St., the brewery said in a Facebook post. It is located in a 900-square-foot space previously occupied by the Great Barn Taproom, which was closed following a fire last year.

It's the brewery's first Bucks County location. Human Robot started five years ago with a flagship location in Kensington.

Human Robot said its new concept is called "Doubles," which allows customers to enjoy craft beer and collectible trading cards in one place.

"This is a slightly different spin on what we have traditionally done," Human Robot said. "This is being built from the ground up, so it will take a little longer."

Doubles offers a selection of Human Robot’s beers alongside vintage and modern packs of baseball, basketball, football, and hockey trading cards, the company said.

The project is also different because Human Robot said it is bringing in a partner, local artist and illustrator Keith Shore, who will help with design, art, and some "special extras" to be announced.
