PECO Construction Prompts Delays On Rt. 179 In New Hope

NEW HOPE, PA - PECO Energy utility construction in New Hope Borough is slated to cause delays through September, officials said.
The utility work, which began last week, is set to take place through Sept. 14 at the Route 179 (West Bridge Street) intersection with Kiltie Drive, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said in a statement.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled construction is weather permitting.
