Police Make Arrests For DUI, Theft By Deception In Lambertville

City police reported the following incidents and arrests between Feb. 20 and March 24:

LAMBERTVILLE, NJ — The City of Lambertville Police Department reported the following incidents and arrests between Feb. 21 and March 22:

February 21

  • At 10:13 a.m., patrol responded to a residence on Brunswick Avenue for the theft of a laptop computer.

  • At 2:43 p.m., patrol responded to a residence on Brunswick Avenue for a dispute. It was determined a wallet was reported stolen.

February 24

  • At 2:35 a.m., Sergeant Gramlich observed a dispute involving several individuals near the free bridge guard shack. It was determined all parties were friends and there was a dispute between two of them. The incident was quickly resolved and all parties left.

  • At 3 p.m., a business owner from Lambert Lane reported a suspicious person inside their business. Further investigation revealed that the individual had not violated any laws.

February 27

  • At 1:35 p.m., patrol responded to a business on North Union Street for a report of graffiti on the outside of the building.
  • A 37-year-old Easton man was charged with theft by deception stemming from an incident that was reported on January 9.

March 8

  • At 8:05 p.m., a 21-year-old man from South Main Street in New Hope was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and being an unlicensed driver.

March 10

  • At 9:42 a.m., patrol responded to a residence on Elm Street for a landlord/tenant dispute.

March 15

  • At 8:04 a.m., patrol responded to a residence on Ferry Street for a report of vehicle damage.

March 18

  • At 5:24 p.m., patrol responded to the area behind the American Legion for a report of smoke in the area. It was determined a small fire pit had been created and was emanating smoke from a previously lit fire. Lambertville Fire extinguished the fire pit area.

March 20

  • At 9:21 p.m., patrol responded to a residence on Holcombe Way for a report of a suspicious parked vehicle.

March 22

  • At 5:39 p.m., patrol responded to the area of the Lambertville-New Hope free bridge for a report of a disorderly person. Upon arrival, the situation was quickly de-escalated.
