Propane Truck Tips Over In New Hope Borough; 1 Home Evacuated
According to police, the driver escaped with only minor injuries and the truck remained intact with no leakage.

NEW HOPE BOROUGH, PA — A propane truck tipped over Monday afternoon at the intersection of South Sugan and Stoney Hill roads in New Hope Borough forcing the closure of the roads and the cautionary evacuation of one home.
The accident happened just before 3 p.m. when the tanker, hauling 3,200 gallons of propane, tipped over. The driver reported only minor injuries in the accident.
According to New Hope Borough Police, the tanker remained intact and did not leak any of its fuel.

The Bucks County Special Operations Unit (Hazmat) was on the scene to evaluate the situation. And as a precautionary measure, the residence closest to the scene was evacuated, police said.
The New Hope Borough Police Department was assisted by the New Hope Eagle Fire Department, the Solebury Township Police Department, and the Midway Volunteer Fire Company.
