Solebury Police Warn Of Rampant Unemployment Fraud
According to the Solebury Township Police Department, fraudulent unemployment cases are on the rise. Learn what action you can take.
SOLEBURY, PA — Solebury Township Police said Monday that the department is receiving numerous reports of fraudulent unemployment cases.
Most often in these cases, an unknown person will have filed for unemployment benefits in a resident's name. Police encourage those who may have experienced this form of identity theft to report online. Solebury residents can also speak in person with an officer by calling 215-328-8511.
Once a local report is filed, victims are advised to contact the Pennsylvania Fraud Hotline at 800-692-7469.
