'12 Angry Jurors' On Stage At Council Rock North
The play explores the huge responsibility faced by 12 people as they consider the guilt or innocence of a young man accused of murder.

NEWTOWN, PA — The Council Rock High School North Sock ‘n’ Buskin Theatre Group brings “Twelve Angry Jurors” to the stage in a riveting life and death drama on Feb. 13, 14 and 15.
Adapted by Sherman L. Sergel and based on the Emmy Award Winning Television movie, “12 Angry Men” by Reginald Rose and starring Henry Fonda, E.G. Marshall and Jack Klugman, “Twelve Angry Jurors” documents the behind-the-scenes deliberations of a jury as it decides on a verdict in a capital murder case involving an inner-city teen.
As the dozen jurors try to reach a unanimous decision while sequestered in a room, one juror casts considerable doubt on elements of the case. Personal issues soon rise to the surface, and conflict threatens to derail the delicate process that will decide a young man's fate. The 12 jurors bring their own histories, prejudices, and biases to the jury room as they work through the life or death decision.
