The Newtown Mercantile Group will welcome three new businesses to Newtown Borough during ribbon cutting events on Saturday.
The public is invited to attend but should wear masks and practice social distancing, organizers said.

Dress To The 9's located at 9 North State Street is an upscale consignment boutique featuring fabulous fresh fall/winter inventory. Ribbon cutting is at 1:30 p.m.
Smooth Roots CBD located at 120 South State Street is a Veteran-owned business bringing organic, full-spectrum CBD to Pennsylvania. Farm to table from our farms in Oregon. Ribbon cutting is at 2 p.m.

Newtown School of Music located at 120 South State Street (basement) starts its 61st year under new ownership, but Sonny Facenda has taught for over 30 years. All teachers have Master degrees and clearances in their musical area. Ribbon cutting is at 2:30 p.m.
