4 Don't-Miss Events Happening This Weekend Around Newtown

NEWTOWN, PA — There is plenty going on in and around Newtown this weekend, including the Village Renaissance Faire, Newtown's annual Music in the Park, and the Scarecrow Festival at nearby Peddler's Village.

Village Renaissance Faire

The annual Faire is set for Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15 at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds in Wrightstown. It features hundreds of performers every half hour on 10 stages. Plus, there will be armored horseback jousting, aerialist shows, puppetry, juggling, comedy, live music, games and much more. All proceeds go to support the public Village Library in Wrightstown. Scarecrow Festival
