'Bubbly, Vibrant' Woman To Be Honored In Newtown Memorial Walk
Christine Englehardt, 24, died after being drugged and left in her hotel room last March. Her loved ones are gathering to remember her life.
NEWTOWN, PA — Friends, family, and loved ones of Christine Englehardt will gather on the morning of Nov. 20 to celebrate her life with a one-mile memorial walk. Further, local organization SharingWell has established the Christine Englehardt Memorial 5K Race to End Sexual Assault, which community members can register for in spring 2022.
Englehardt, a 24-year-old from Richboro, was found dead in her hotel room on spring break in Miami in March of 2021. Investigators believe she was drugged with fentanyl and raped. Two men are now facing first-degree murder charges in her death.
The daughter of Thomas and Doreen Englehardt and a beloved manager at Jules Thin Crust Pizza, Christine was described as someone "who could light up a room with her infectious laugh and vibrant energy," who also brought a "bubbly personality, immense care for others and hard work ethic" to her endeavors.
