Bucks Co Has One Of America's Best Christmas Towns, Magazine Says

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Country Living magazine has included a Bucks County town on its list of America's "Best Christmas Towns."

New Hope made the list of 55 towns, which included spots from New England to the West Coast.

It appears the magazine's editors were impressed with New Hope's North Pole Express, the New Hope Railroad's holiday excursion.

Here's what the publication had to say about Christmas in New Hope:

Who wouldn't want to spend their Christmas in this lovely East Coast locale? You're bound to experience a "white Christmas" if you do. New Hope is also home to the North Pole Express, where you and your family will be treated to Christmas carols, hot cocoa, cookies, and even a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus themselves.

The magazine said the Best Christmas towns list was created by determining communities that "really get in the holiday spirit with light displays, Christmas decorations, holiday crafts fairs, and other fun festivities."

Other towns that made the list include: Ann Arbor, Michigan; Park City, Utah; Newport, Rhode Island, and more. See the full list here.
