WASHINGTON CROSSING, PA — Pennsylvania is known far and wide for its fall foliage, and Bucks County residents don’t have to travel far to visit one of the state's best areas to view the changing of the seasons, according to a recent ranking.

VisitPA, the state’s official tourism website, named Washington Crossing Historic Park as one of “10 Amazing Places to View Fall Foliage,” thanks to its historic sites, wildflower areas and nature trails.

VisitPA’s “Happy Traveler” guide called the park “an excellent place to discover the October foliage” in Bucks County. The website encourages people to climb the 125-foot Bowman’s Hill Tower to get a 14-mile panoramic view of the county.
