Bucks County Community College Launches COVID Vaccine Incentives
Newly vaccinated students could win $100 for getting a shot. Vaccinated students can also enter for a chance to win a year of free tuition.
BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Bucks County Community College officials are set to hand out $20,000 to students who get vaccinated this week against the coronavirus.
The first 200 students who receive a shot between Monday and Friday will each receive a $100 gift card from the Gene and Marlene Epstein Humanitarian Fund.

Students must show their original vaccination card with a date between Aug. 30 and Sept. 3 to receive the prize. Cards can be shown at the front desk of the Upper Bucks campus, the Gene & Marlene Epstein Campus or at the Linksz Building at the Newtown campus, according to a news release.
Students who receive their second dose at one of BCCC’s pop-up vaccination clinics could be eligible for another $100 reward from Bucks County, the release states.

All vaccinated students can enter for a chance to win one year of free tuition, worth up to 24 credits. Unvaccinated students can also enter if they had a positive antibody test within the last 6 months, the release states. Raffle winners will be named Sept. 10.

All Bucks County Community College students must wear masks inside regardless of vaccination status, according to the college's health and safety plan.
