Why are you seeking elective office?
I see it as an opportunity to give back to the community I have lived in and enjoyed for close to three decades.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The need for the leadership of an involved mayor who understands voter's key concerns and brings these real, not imaginary issues to Council for considered action.
After speaking to neighbors throughout the borough, I have heard many concerns about traffic, pedestrian safety and community policing issues, as well as better council/constituent communication. These are the real, current issues.
Engaging in fear mongering regarding "taxes doubling" does not serve the community. It is based on zero facts. Not one candidate is a proponent of increasing OUR taxes.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I remain open to facts and pragmatic solutions to issues as they arise.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)
N/A
The best advice ever shared with me was:
Listen first, find common ground, lead with transparency and inclusion.
What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I believe the position of mayor has more potential than has been tapped in the past.
