Comedian Gilbert Gottfried Coming To Newtown Theatre
Comedian Gilbert Gottfried will be performing two stand-up shows at the Newtown Theatre next month.

NEWTOWN, PA — Comedian Gilbert Gottfried will be performing two stand-up shows in Newtown next month.
The famous comedian and actor will be at the Newtown Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 2 for shows at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. for the 6:00 p.m. show and at 7:45 p.m. for the 8:30 PM show.
Gottfried is a former Saturday Night Live cast member who made appearances on “The Cosby Show” and “Late Night with David Letterman." His television career led to roles in numerous movies, including “Beverly Hills Cop II,” “Problem Child,” “Look Who’s Talking II,” and “The Adventures of Ford Fairlane.”

After his performance as IAGO in Disney's “Aladdin,” Gottfried became one of the most recognizable voiceover talents in the industry. From there, he went on to be featured in several commercials, cartoons, and movies, including as the frustrated duck in the AFLAC Insurance commercials.

Gottfried also is the voice of DIGIT in the long running PBS Series “Cyberchase.” His signature voice can also be heard on the Comedy Central series, “The Annoying Orange, the voice of the horse on “Family Guy,” Mr. Mxyzptlk in the new “Lego Batman 3 – Beyond Gotham” video game, and Abraham Lincoln in A Million Ways to Die in the West.
Beer, wine and concessions will be sold from the time the doors open until the start of the performance. Tickets are available online through the Theatre's website.
