BUCKS COUNTY, PA — U.S. Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1) hosted a ceremony to announce the United States Military Service Academy Nominations for the Class of 2029, recognizing an outstanding group of young men and women from Bucks and Montgomery counties who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and a steadfast commitment to serving our nation.

"Few responsibilities are more profound than nominating the next generation of military leaders — young men and women who have chosen to dedicate themselves to the defense of our nation, its freedoms, and its people," said Congressman Fitzpatrick. "These nominees represent the very best of our community — individuals with the courage to lead, the resolve to serve, and the strength of character to uphold the values upon which our country was built. Their decision to step forward and serve is a testament to their unwavering patriotism, and I have no doubt they will rise to the challenge and inspire others to follow in their footsteps."

Each year, Congressman Fitzpatrick's Service Academy Nomination Committee — comprised of distinguished veterans, active-duty personnel, and retired military leaders — conducts a highly competitive selection process to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates for appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, and the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
