Council Rock North, South Competing In Christmas Choir Contest
The choir teams at Council Rock High School North and South are competing for a $5,000 grand prize.
NEWTOWN, PA — The choir teams at Council Rock High School North and South are competing for a $5,000 grand prize.
Both teams were selected as semifinalists in this year's B101.1 Radio Christmas Choir Competition.
Voting opens Monday, Dec. 14 for Council Rock North, which is competing against Cherokee High School and Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast High School. The choir performed "The First Noel" for its entry. Voting closes at 9 p.m.

Voting will open Wednesday for the Council Rock South Vocal Ensemble, who performed "Let It Snow."
The competition is open to all school districts in the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area. The prize money goes toward the winning school's music program.
