Council Rock Gets 11,000 Donated Face Masks

The blue-and-white face masks will be distributed to students and staff this week.

NEWTOWN, PA — Thousands of free face masks will be delivered to students, teachers and staff at Council Rock School District after Capital Health agreed to donate 11,000 face masks.

The blue-and-white face masks, which include the Council Rock logo, will help heighten awareness of COVID-19 health regulations and protocols, the district said in a news bulletin Friday.

The masks are being distributed this week and a reserve supply will be kept at every school, the district said.

Headquartered in New Jersey, Capital Health operates two hospitals, an outpatient facility and various primary and specialty care practices in the region, including a primary care office in Newtown.
