Council Rock High Schools Ranked Among Best High Schools in State

Niche.com ranked the best public high schools in the state of Pennsylvania.

Council Rock High School’s North and South campuses have been named, respectively, the 13th and 24th best public high schools in the state of Pennsylvania by Niche.com.

Niche.com is dedicated to evaluating U.S. and Puerto Rican schools based on parent and student reviews. The site reported that parent/student surveys gave both schools an A+ overall Niche grade.

Council Rock North received three A+ rankings in academics, educational outcomes and teachers. Its lowest grade was a B minus in student culture and diversity, according to Niche.com. Council Rock South received two A+ rankings in administration and policies and teachers. Its lowest grade was a C+ in student culture and diversity.

The website uses a very detailed set of methods to rank the top 100 schools in Pennsylvania. The site collected opinions from thousands of Pennsylvania students and parents.

  • Students are very happy with their experience in all aspects including academics, teachers, health, safety, resources, facilities, extracurriculars, sports, and fitness;
  • District schools are exceptional academic institutions in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes;
  • District schools are made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture;
  • Students are actively involved in a variety of extracurriculars and sports the district offers.
