Council Rock North Ranked Among PA’s Top 40 High Schools
Council Rock South finished just outside the top 50 best high schools in Pennsylvania in a recent ranking.
NEWTOWN, PA — Council Rock boasts one of the top 40 high schools in Pennsylvania, according to a new ranking.
Data analysis company Niche recently released its eighth annual list of the best high schools in the country, as well as a statewide ranking of schools in the Keystone State.
Council Rock North was ranked No. 36 in the state, while Council Rock South came in at No. 52, the ranking shows.

Traditional rankings rely almost exclusively on metrics like test scores and academic performance, but Niche's rankings combine user input — ratings from current students, alumni, and parents — with data from sources like the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities, extracurricular activity opportunities, and more.
Niche gives each school an overall letter grade based on academics, teachers, clubs and activities, diversity, college preparation and health and safety.

Council Rock North received an overall A+ grade, while Council Rock South got an A in the ranking. Each received hundreds of glowing reviews from students and alumni.
