Council Rock North State Wrestling Champ Recognized In Harrisburg
The Council Rock North senior was recognized in Harrisburg by State Rep. Perry Warren and State Sen. Steve Santarsiero.

NEWTOWN, PA — Eren Sement, who won the PIAA Class AAA state wrestling title at 145 pounds in March, was recognized this week on the floor of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for his historic victory at the 2025 PIAA Wrestling Championships.
This past March, Sement captured the 145-pound state title at the Giant Center in Hershey with a thrilling 1-0 win over Dalton Perry of Central Mountain. With this victory, he became only the second wrestler from Council Rock North to earn a state championship since the school district’s split in 2002–03. His gold-medal finish capped off an extraordinary high school career, after placing third in the state for three consecutive years.
Sement was joined at the Capitol by State Rep. Perry Warren and State Senator Steve Santarsiero. Also joining him were his parents, sister, and Council Rock North wrestling coach Mike Diglia, who brought along two of his children to help celebrate the occasion.
