Council Rock Schools Named Finalists In Christmas Choir Contest

Council Rock High School North and South are in the finals for the B101.1 Christmas Choir Competition.

NEWTOWN, PA — Two Council Rock high schools are competing against each other for the title of best school Christmas choir in the Philadelphia region.

Council Rock High School North and South have been named two of the three finalists in the B101.1 2020 Christmas Choir Competition. The third finalist is Creative Arts Morgan Village Academy, which performed "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."

Council Rock NorthVoice, which performed "The First Noel" for its entry, is led by vocal music teacher Ryan Carlin. The Council Rock South Vocal Ensemble performed "Let It Snow" and is directed by Corey Axler.

Voting ends at 9 p.m. Thursday and a winner will be announced live on-air Friday, Dec. 18 at 7 a.m. on B101.1. Click here for their live stream.
