CR Newtown Headed Home After Falling to Hawaii In Little League Action
The public is invited to greet the young athletes when they arrive home Wednesday evening at Chandler Field.

NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The Council Rock Newtown Little League 12U team is headed home after falling two runs short in its an elimination game against Hawaii on Tuesday.
Hawaii's dominant pitching performance sealed the 3-1 victory over Pennsylvania in Newtown's final game at the Little League World Series in Williamsport.
After days of incredible baseball and a memorable journey to the fields of the Little League World Series, the young ball players are scheduled to arrive back in Newtown around 6 p.m. on Wednesday at Chandler Hall Field.

“We would like to invite everyone to come cheer them on when they arrive,” said the Council Rock Newtown Athletic Association in a social media post. “Please be at the fields between 6 and 6:30. Please refrain from parking in the parking lot as the charter bus and player’s families will need the space to offload the players and their bags.“
For the past week, the area has been immersed in Little League baseball, rooting for the Newtown boys who put up a fight, surviving through two double elimination games over the weekend, before falling short to the West on Tuesday afternoon.
