Unable to locate the owner, police reported that a “very knowledgeable” community member with experience with chickens stepped up and is caring for the birds and will be coordinating with the SPCA to determine next steps.
“So, the chickens have flown the coop and are stretching their legs and wings,” the police said. “We would like to thank the driver who stopped and called us and that community member for all their help.”
