DA Investigating Bus Crash That Injured Council Rock Students

The Bucks County DA's office is investigating a school bus crash that occurred Wednesday in Upper Makefield.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — The Bucks County District Attorney's office is investigating a school bus crash that occurred Wednesday on Rt. 532 at Dolington Road, authorities with that office confirmed.

The Upper Makefield Police Department said the crash injured two students and the driver of the other vehicle.

The three people injured were transported to St. Mary Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, police said. The crash involved students from Newtown Middle School.

"We know many of you have concerns about this intersection. In regards to this accident, the intersection was not the issue," police said.

The DA's office did not have details of the investigation to release at this time, spokesman James O'Malley said in an email to Patch Thursday.
