Drugs Seized During Traffic Stop In Upper Makefield

An investigation by police revealed that a passenger in the vehicle was in possession of methamphetamine.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — Drugs were seized and a passenger was arrested during a car stop early Saturday morning in Upper Makefield.

Shortly before 1 a.m., officers stopped a vehicle on Taylorsville Road at Heritage Hills Drive. The driver was found to be operating a vehicle while his license was suspended for a DUI.

Further investigation by police revealed that the passenger was in possession of methamphetamine.

Police cited the driver for operating a vehicle while their driver’s license was suspended for DUI; the drugs were seized; and the passenger was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

The vehicle was impounded.
