Questions:

1. Why are you running for supervisor? If elected, what will you bring to the table?

I’m proud to call Upper Makefield home, and I’m passionate about preserving the unique qualities that make our community so special — our open spaces, neighborhoods, and the rich history that surrounds us. I’m running to ensure Upper Makefield remains a safe, welcoming place to live and raise a family for generations to come.

In recent years, our community has faced serious environmental challenges, from a devastating flash flood to a jet fuel leak that contaminated local drinking water. These events underscore how vital responsive and transparent leadership is in protecting our residents and environment. I want to continue building on the progress our township has made by fostering collaboration, strengthening preparedness, and ensuring thoughtful, long-term planning. Together, we can preserve what makes Upper Makefield exceptional while planning wisely for the future.

With a professional background in accounting, I bring a fiscally responsible approach to local governance. I began my career at Deloitte, where I learned the importance of accuracy, accountability, and trust while supporting organizations’ financial health. My service on Upper Makefield Township's Environmental Advisory Council and Financial Advisory Committee, along with experience as HOA and PTO treasurer, has equipped me to manage complex budgets, support cooperative problem-solving, and address community needs through practical, solutions-focused leadership.

I'm an effective leader with a strong track record of delivering projects successfully from start to finish. Working closely with neighbors and local leaders has given me a deep understanding of our community's concerns and priorities, and it has strengthened my commitment to transparent governance and collaborative problem-solving. I’m also honored to be endorsed by a bipartisan group of Upper Makefield residents who value practical leadership. I’m dedicated to listening to residents, engaging meaningfully with diverse perspectives, and delivering real progress that reflects what matters most to Upper Makefield. My combination of financial expertise, community involvement, and proven leadership makes me ready to serve our township effectively and responsibly.

2. What are your top issues and how do you plan to address them?

Upper Makefield is a special community and preserving its character must remain a top priority. That means protecting open space and ensuring land is permanently preserved whenever possible. I am committed to advocating for the residents of Mt. Eyre Manor affected by the pipeline leak. They deserve transparency, accountability, and coordinated action among local, state, and federal agencies to ensure clean, safe water and lasting remediation.

Stormwater management remains a vital priority. We must advance projects that improve the flow of creeks and streams to help mitigate flooding. Proactive, well-planned infrastructure work will better prepare us for extreme weather while safeguarding homes and the environment.

Additionally, we must plan responsibly for the future by ensuring strong, sustainable support for our fire company, EMS, and police — maintaining public safety and attracting the dedicated professionals who serve our community. These efforts are essential to keeping taxes reasonable and upholding the quality of life our residents value.

3. What are your ideas for improving Upper Makefield Township?

I want to strengthen our sense of community by creating more opportunities for residents to connect, engage, and enjoy all that Upper Makefield has to offer. Whether through expanded recreational programming, community events, or thoughtful enhancements to our parks, I believe we can create shared experiences that bring neighbors together and deepen our connection to this special place we call home. Serving on the Community Day 2025 planning committee has shown me firsthand how powerful it is when residents come together to celebrate and collaborate — it’s something I’d like to see more of.

Another important priority is ensuring Upper Makefield remains an affordable and welcoming place for families. Rising costs — from housing to property maintenance — can make it difficult for families to put down roots or improve their homes. I want to explore practical, balanced policies that help ease that burden and allow residents to invest in their properties without losing the charm that defines our township. By working together and making thoughtful, fiscally responsible decisions, we can preserve Upper Makefield’s character and build a strong community for the future.
