DOYLESTOWN, PA — Incumbent State Representative Shelby Labs is projected to win re-election in the 143rd Legislative District, according to unofficial results posted by Bucks County.

The Plumstead Township Republican faced a challenge from Democratic challenger Eleanor Breslin of Tinicum Township.

With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Labs won 56.3 percent of the vote while Breslin won 43.5 percent. Here are the unofficial numbers from Bucks County:

  • Democrat Eleanor Breslin — 18,703 votes
  • Republican Shelby Labs — 24,194 votes

The 143rd Legislative District includes New Britain Township, Hilltown Township, Plumstead Township, Tinicum Township, Bedminster Township, Dublin Borough, Perkasie Borough, Sellersville Borough and Silverdale Borough.
